DWD Scout Post Co-ordinator

Role Description (SP1)

Main requirement is October to January and a day in the summer, a DBS check will be required.

Responsible for the smooth operation of the service as a whole; support and advice form the existing post holder will be provided.
Report to the District Commissioner.
Oversee all Scout Post Functions.
Recruit and manage all District Scout Post Personnel as required.
Liaise with Group Scout Post services to help develop and support their activities.
Liaise with ADC Communications and Media to promote and extend the Scout Post Service.
Order Stamps.
Update and laminate signage.
Review rounds and update where necessary.
Liaise with Dorchester Library for the placing of undeliverable cards.
Arrange for delivery / collection of flyers and stamps by Groups.
